Overview of Position The Hazard Forecaster plays a critical role in supporting business operations by analyzing workload trends, forecasting future volumes, and translating those forecasts into staffing recommendations. This position partners closely with Operations teams to drive informed workforce planning decisions, ensure service level commitments are met, and support business growth through data-driven insights. Analyze historical workload data, trends, and business drivers to develop accurate volume forecasts. Create staffing recommendations that support operational goals and contractual service level agreements. Present forecasts, trends, and workforce recommendations during monthly business review meetings. Develop reports and perform ad hoc analyses related to new initiatives, process changes, and client onboarding activities. Continuously improve forecasting models, methodologies, and workforce planning processes. What are the requirements needed for this position? High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 3 years of advanced Microsoft Excel experience, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business recommendations. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across teams. What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? Previous forecasting, workforce planning, capacity planning, or workforce management experience. Experience with Power BI reporting and dashboard development. SQL knowledge and experience extracting or analyzing data from multiple sources. Knowledge of forecasting methodologies, statistics, and trend analysis. Experience presenting insights and recommendations to operational or business stakeholders. What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job? General office demands.
