Head Accountant - Part-time

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee accounting, tax compliance, financial reporting and related financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Organise and oversee accounting and tax records, ensuring the accuracy of supporting documents and accounting entries.

• Manage month-end and year-end closing and ensure timely preparation and submission of tax and regulatory reports.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, employee payments and tax obligations.

• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements: P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statement.

• Maintain audit-ready records and coordinate with external auditors.

• Prepare financial information and reports for licensing requirements in collaboration with the CEO and Legal.

• Support the opening and ongoing administration of bank accounts across international jurisdictions, including preparing documentation and liaising with banks alongside the CEO and Legal.
  

What we’re looking for:

• Experience as a Head Accountant or Senior Accountant, with independent responsibility for accounting and reporting.

• Strong attention to detail, reliable deadline management and proactive communication of risks.

• Ability to understand existing processes, manage a handover and maintain clear documentation.

• Availability for an ongoing part-time commitment of approximately 20 hours per month.

• Relevant experience working with banks, auditors and external accounting providers. Experience with international legal entities is a plus.
