Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

At NZ Post, we're on a journey to make data and insights a bigger part of everyday decision making. As our Head of Analytics Enablement, you'll help leaders across the business better understand challenges, uncover opportunities and make informed decisions that improve performance and customer outcomes.

Leading a team of analytics specialists, you'll be the bridge between business needs and analytical solutions. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll influence thinking, build strong relationships and help embed a culture where data, insights and AI are used confidently to create value.

You'll Do That By

  • Leading and developing a team delivering high-value analytics products and insights
  • Partnering with stakeholders to understand opportunities, challenges and priorities
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to leaders across the business, helping shape better decisions
  • Championing the use of data, insights and AI to improve performance and outcomes
  • Translating complex information into clear, meaningful actions that create value
  • Building capability, confidence and analytics maturity across NZ Post

Mōu - About You

You're a leader who is energised by helping people make better decisions. You've built a career turning complex information into meaningful insight and understand that the real value of data comes from how it's used to influence thinking, shape strategy and improve outcomes. Equally comfortable engaging with operational leaders, commercial teams and senior executives, you're skilled at building credibility and bringing people on the journey.

You'll be naturally curious, commercially minded and able to see both the bigger picture and the practical steps needed to create impact. You enjoy working across diverse stakeholder groups, helping others think differently about challenges and opportunities without losing sight of what matters most. Just as importantly, you'll be passionate about developing people, fostering an inclusive team culture and creating an environment where individuals can do their best work.

You'll combine that with

  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing analytics, insights or performance teams
  • Experience translating business priorities into data-driven solutions that deliver measurable value
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect insights with business outcomes
  • The confidence to influence, coach and partner with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
  • Experience leading change, lifting capability or embedding new ways of working
  • The ability to communicate complex concepts in a way that is engaging, practical and easy to understand
