Trust Payments has an exciting opportunity for a Head of EU Sales to join their team.
Location: Hybrid (Malta, Birkirkara) or fully remote across Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Greece, or Italy

How will you make an impact in this role?
The Role:
Trust Payments is seeking an experienced Head of EU Sales to shape and deliver commercially focused strategies across key European markets. You will identify client opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and help define product direction based on market demand — all whilst supporting the sustainable growth of the business.
This role sits within the commercial leadership team, with a clear focus on Trust Payments' European go-to-market strategy across key verticals including Travel, Financial Services, Forex, iGaming, Dating, and Hospitality.
You will lead, develop, and support a team of sales professionals to achieve quarterly targets and KPIs.
What We Expect of You, Day To Day:
- Strategy & Growth – Develop and deliver a comprehensive sales strategy for the EU market across key verticals, including Financial Services, Forex, iGaming, Dating, Travel, Hospitality, and broader traditional sectors.
- Market Development – Identify new market opportunities, evaluate the competitive landscape, and build strategic partnerships to deliver sales growth.
- Performance Management – Set clear targets and performance goals; monitor pipeline performance and report on outcomes. Use data-driven insights to improve sales effectiveness and revenue generation.
- Team Leadership – Guide and motivate a geographically distributed EU sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Planning & Forecasting – Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and pipelines tailored to the identified key verticals. Work alongside the Data Team to analyse trends, customer insights, and sales data.
- New Business – Personally develop and convert new customers and strategic partnerships within target markets and sectors. Serve as a senior point of escalation for the team.
- Talent Development – Identify skill gaps within the sales team and deliver targeted training programmes to build sales capability.
- Cross-functional Collaboration – Work closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, Data, and Risk teams to ensure sales strategies align with company objectives across the EU market.
Qualifications
- Essential
- At least 5 years' experience in a sales leadership role within payments, fintech, banking infrastructure, acquiring, or a closely related sector
- A proven track record of launching new markets or products successfully
- Skilled in presenting, reporting, and interpreting sales data
- Skilled negotiator with experience engaging C-level stakeholders
- Desirable
- Experience planning and delivering client engagement campaigns
- Familiarity with one or more of the key verticals listed above
