We're a fast-growing digital consumer business with millions of active users and a strong position in our category. Our next stage of growth depends on getting smarter at attracting, converting and keeping customers, on web and on app.
We're hiring a Head of Growth Marketing to own our full-funnel media strategy and lead our in-house performance marketing team. This is a strategic role for someone who has spent years hands-on in performance marketing and now wants to own the whole picture, from building awareness to driving conversion.
How we work
Our upper-funnel and lower-funnel performance operations rely on agency partners. We are building in-house capabilities to fully own, plan, launch, and optimize our day-to-day low-funnel paid campaigns across paid social, paid search, programmatic and app every day. Upper-funnel activity, such as video, reach and awareness campaigns, is delivered with an external media agency.
You'll sit across both. You'll build one integrated full-funnel media plan, lead the in-house performance team directly, and steer the agency on upper-funnel planning and buying, so every stage of the funnel works towards the same business goals.
What you'll do
→ Be the voice of Paid Marketing. Represent paid media across the marketing department, and strategic planning sessions across the organization. Clearly articulate channel impact, translate performance data into executive-level strategy, and align media spend with overarching business goals.
→ Lead in-house performance marketing. Own strategy and execution across Meta, TikTok, Google Search, Programmatic, YouTube and app campaigns. Stay close enough to the platforms to challenge bidding strategies, account structures, audiences and creative, and push the team to get the most out of automation and AI tools.
→ Own the full-funnel media plan. Build the annual and quarterly media plan across upper, mid and lower funnel. Decide how budget is split between awareness, consideration and conversion, and adjust it based on what the data tells you.
→ Manage upper funnel with our agency. Brief, plan and manage upper-funnel campaigns with our media agency. Hold them accountable for quality reach, efficiency and, above all, measurable impact on mid- and lower-funnel results.
→ Connect the dots across the funnel. Show how awareness investment lifts branded search, conversion rates and acquisition costs. Make sure messaging, audiences and timing flow from the first impression to the final conversion.
→ Scale app growth. Drive app user acquisition, ASO and mobile attribution, focusing on high-quality users with strong retention and LTV.
→ Run growth commercially. Own the media budget, forecasts and ROI. Report in business terms: revenue, CAC, payback and LTV. Bring an e-commerce mindset to how users research, compare and convert.
→ Measure what matters. Use incrementality testing, controlled experiments and attribution modelling so that investment decisions across the funnel are based on evidence.
→ Lead and mentor the paid marketing squad. Directly manage, upskill, and guide our 2-person marketing team, fostering operational autonomy, bidding strategy rigor, and testing discipline across Meta, Google, TikTok, and App acquisition channels.
Leading the team
You'll manage the in-house performance marketing team and be responsible for its growth and results:

- Coach and develop people through regular 1:1s, feedback and career plans
- Hire and onboard new talent as the team grows

What success looks like in your first year
- Established and recognized as the strategic partner for paid marketing across the marketing team and the cross functional teams

- Proven experience building full-funnel media plans and managing upper-funnel campaigns with media agencies
- Clear ability to connect upper-funnel activity with mid- and lower-funnel performance, backed by examples
