Head of Operations

Role Description The Head of Operations at GEG UAE & Beyond is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the daily operational activities of the community. This role includes planning and coordinating virtual events, managing schedules and workflows, and aligning operational priorities with the group’s educational mission. The Head of Operations will monitor processes, track key metrics, and implement improvements to ensure efficient delivery of programs and initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with volunteer leaders, organizing resources and budgets, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders across different regions. The person in this role will support strategic planning while ensuring that all operational tasks are executed in a timely and organized manner.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills to oversee processes, workflows, and event coordination.
• Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, track performance, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Candidates should possess Team Management and Communication skills to lead volunteers, collaborate with educators, and maintain clear stakeholder engagement.
• Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to plan, monitor, and optimize resources for programs and initiatives.
• Experience in education, non-profit, or community-building environments is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace for Education and virtual collaboration tools is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Operations, Management, Education, or a related field is preferred.
