OKTOBER runs email and retention marketing for 50+ Shopify scale-ups from Amsterdam, with a remote team across Europe. The team has more than doubled in a few months and every escalation still lands on the founder's desk. You take that desk.

What you'll run

• Delivery across Retention and Design: building the playbooks, processes and quality standards that allow the agency to scale
• Three Team Leads, and through them 40+ people. You develop the leads, they develop their teams
• Operational performance across multiple client accounts, improving efficiency, accountability and consistency
• Client relationships and escalations, ensuring problems are resolved without everything reaching the founder
• The systems, reporting and visibility needed to identify bottlenecks and keep delivery running smoothly
• Senior hiring and team structure, with a real say in how the agency grows

This will feel like a fit if...

• You've scaled operations or delivery within a growing digital, eCommerce or DTC agency, ideally from around 40 people to 70 and beyond
• You've led other leaders, not just a team of doers
• You understand agency economics, client relationships and the challenges of managing multiple accounts at pace
• You've worked in a fast-moving agency environment, whether that's paid media, PPC, creative, retention or wider digital marketing
• You build the system rather than firefight. There are processes still running today that you personally put in place
• You can spot what's not working, bring solutions to the table and take ownership without waiting for direction

You don't need to be a retention specialist. You do need to know what it takes to build and scale a high-performing agency operation.
