- Provide independent health and safety advice, assurance, and support across major projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Partner with clients, project managers, designers, contractors, and duty holders to promote effective risk management and legal compliance.
- Undertake inspections, audits, and assurance activities to help maintain high standards of health and safety performance.
- Review risk assessments, method statements, contractor arrangements, and project controls to support safe project delivery.
- Lead or support accident and incident investigations, identifying lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the practical application of CDM 2015 requirements, including the management of design risk where appropriate.
- Deliver health and safety training, briefings, and awareness activities that strengthen capability across project teams.
- Promote a positive safety culture by building relationships, sharing best practice, and driving continuous improvement across the Major Projects portfolio.

- You bring a strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation and CDM 2015 and enjoy helping others navigate their responsibilities.
- You are comfortable supporting projects through design, pre-construction, and construction phases, ensuring safe and effective delivery.
- You enjoy engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and building trusted relationships across project teams and organisations.
- You have experience working within highly regulated environments and understand the importance of maintaining high standards of safety, governance, and compliance.
- You communicate clearly and confidently, supporting project teams, senior leaders, and clients to make informed decisions and improve safety performance.
