Healthcare Reimbursement Consultant

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Reimbursement Consultant for our client on a project basis. This role is fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Support healthcare reimbursement consulting projects, including Medicare DSH, Medicare & Medicaid Cost Reports, and Healthcare Wage Index Reviews
• Compile, organize, and analyze large data sets to support reimbursement and reporting engagements
• Review data for accuracy, completeness, inconsistencies, and potential issues
• Learn and utilize internal software, tools, and platforms supporting reimbursement engagements
• Develop technical knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and regulations
• Work closely with healthcare professionals and other service lines to support client needs
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external clients
• Provide timely and responsive communication throughout client engagements
• Manage multiple priorities and deliverables while meeting project deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
