HMI and SCADA Software Engineer

Description As an HMI and SCADA Software Engineer at INNIO, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern HMI/SCADA software solutions, including both front-end and back-end components. You will work on secure, reliable, and maintainable systems, support customization through reusable templates and scripts, and collaborate with product management, end users, and validation teams to deliver high-quality solutions. In addition, you will provide troubleshooting and remote support for field systems, maintain technical documentation, and contribute within agile development processes such as SCRUM. Architect highly available, secure, and maintainable software solutions. Create reusable templates and scripts to streamline order-specific customizations and boost productivity. Execute projects in alignment with the INNIO Jenbacher design process and agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM). Collaborate closely with product line management and end users to gather and analyze requirements. Maintain and update software, providing timely field updates as needed. Provide troubleshooting and third-level remote support for INNIO HMI/SCADA systems in the field. Develop comprehensive technical documentation and user manuals. Plan and conduct software validation activities in cooperation with validation engineers. Your Profile: Bachelor or Masters degree in computing science, informatics, mechatronic or electrical engineering or equivalent Fluent English and Hungarian communication skills (both written and spoken) German or any other language is a plus. Experience and strong interest in WEB development (HTML 5, Type Script, Java Script, React or Angular JS) or .NET C# Basic knowledge in Linux, Docker, CI/CD, agile development, GIT, Azure DevOps Basic knowledge in SQL or Influx database design
