Role Description The Hotel Deputy General Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations and ensuring an exceptional guest experience across all departments. This role includes monitoring service standards at front office, housekeeping, food and beverage outlets, and recreational facilities, while coordinating with department heads to maintain operational efficiency and brand compliance. The Deputy General Manager will assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control, and contribute to strategic business planning focused on revenue growth and guest satisfaction. Key responsibilities also involve guiding teams on service excellence, resolving complex guest issues, supporting sales and marketing initiatives, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires regular virtual coordination with on-site leadership and teams, ensuring seamless communication, performance oversight, and alignment with Four Points® by Sheraton brand standards.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in general management and business management, with experience overseeing multi-department hotel operations.
• Strong customer service skills, with a track record of enhancing guest satisfaction and managing escalated guest concerns.
• Proficiency in budgeting and financial management, including forecasting, cost control, and performance analysis.
• Knowledge of food & beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, and banquet service standards and profitability drivers.
• Proven leadership and people management abilities, including coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote capacity and across diverse teams.
• Experience in Marriott and Best Western branded hotels and environments, preferably within international hotel chains; prior General Manager experience is required.
• Relevant degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and commitment to safety, compliance, and brand standards.
• Knowledge in OPERA PMS and other hotel software is required
