Hotel General Manager
REDA Free Zone (RFZ)Role Description The Hotel General Manager is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and guest-focused environment. Day-to-day tasks include supervising departmental performance, managing reservations and front-office activities, coordinating housekeeping and maintenance, and supporting food and beverage service standards with onsite teams. The role involves monitoring budgets, revenue, and cost controls, implementing policies and procedures, and maintaining compliance with hospitality and safety regulations. The Hotel General Manager will collaborate with property staff and external partners, drive service improvements, handle guest feedback and escalations, and support marketing and business development efforts to enhance occupancy and profitability.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and General Management skills, including team supervision, performance management, and cross-functional coordination.
- Proven Customer Service capabilities, with experience handling guest inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining high satisfaction scores.
- Budgeting and Business Management skills, including forecasting, cost control, revenue management, and financial reporting.
- Understanding of Food & Beverage operations, including service standards, menu coordination, hygiene practices, and vendor collaboration.
- Experience in hotel or hospitality management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, multicultural environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on operational excellence.
- Proficiency with hotel management systems and standard office software; comfort with digital collaboration tools.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
