General Manager
Forum international RSERole Description The General Manager role is a part-time, remote position responsible for overseeing the overall operations, strategic direction, and performance of RFB Investment House. On a day-to-day basis, the General Manager will coordinate investment activities, support deal sourcing, review potential early-stage technology opportunities, and collaborate closely with partners to refine and execute investment strategies. The role includes managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective internal communication, and monitoring portfolio company performance to align with the firm’s objectives. The General Manager will also help improve internal processes, oversee basic financial and operational reporting, and contribute to business development initiatives that strengthen the firm’s presence in the technology investment ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and management abilities, including experience overseeing operations, setting priorities, and aligning teams around strategic goals.
- Background in investment, finance, or venture capital, with an understanding of early-stage technology companies and the Israeli or global high-tech ecosystem.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, including the ability to evaluate business models, review financial data, and assess risk and opportunity.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills for collaborating with partners, entrepreneurs, and external stakeholders in a remote environment.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, business development, or organizational growth within financial services, technology, or related industries.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time, remote setting, with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with startup financing structures, portfolio monitoring, and governance practices is highly beneficial.
