HR BUSINESS PARTNER

Join us in shaping the future of one of Schneider Electric's growing Software Hubs!

At Schneider Electric, people are at the heart of everything we do. As our Novi Sad Hub continues to grow and evolve into one of the company's key software and digital engineering centers, we are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who will help us build the organization, develop talent, and support business growth.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment alongside software engineers, digital experts, and business leaders who are shaping the future of energy management and sustainability. As a trusted advisor to leaders, you will play a critical role in driving organizational effectiveness, talent development, employee experience, and business transformation.

Located in our state-of-the-art InGrid building in Novi Sad, you will be part of a collaborative and international environment within a company that has been consistently recognized as a global leader in sustainability and corporate responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Partner with business leaders to understand organizational priorities, business challenges, and growth plans, translating them into effective people strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership development, and change management.
  • Support business transformation initiatives by ensuring organizational readiness and successful adoption of change.
  • Use people insights, workforce analytics, and business data to influence decisions and provide recommendations.

Talent and Organizational Development

  • Lead talent management activities, including succession planning, talent reviews, high-potential identification, and development planning.
  • Support leaders in building future-ready teams by identifying critical skills, capability gaps, and development opportunities.
  • Drive initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, performance, inclusion, and organizational culture.
  • Coach managers on performance management, leadership effectiveness, and employee development.

Workforce Planning and Talent Acquisition

  • Partner with leaders to forecast workforce needs and define hiring strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition teams to attract and hire top talent in highly competitive and specialized markets.
  • Participate in recruitment and selection processes for key and strategic positions.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new employees.

Employee Experience and HR Operations

  • Act as the primary HR contact for managers and employees across the supported organization.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, company policies, and HR processes.
  • Support compensation and reward activities, ensuring alignment with company frameworks and market practices.
  • Manage and support international mobility processes as Home or Host HRBP.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of global and local HR programs, policies, and initiatives.

Change and Culture

  • Drive initiatives that enhance employee experience and strengthen organizational culture.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Contribute to regional and global HR projects that support organizational growth and transformation.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar strategic HR role.
  • Experience supporting technology, software, engineering, digital, or other highly skilled professional organizations is strongly preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect people strategies with business outcomes.
  • Proven experience working directly with managers and leadership teams.
  • Solid understanding of talent management, organizational development, performance management, compensation, and workforce planning.
  • Strong coaching, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and operate effectively in a rapidly changing and evolving environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • In addition to native Serbian, we are looking for fluent English, both written and spoken.

What Success Looks Like

You build strong partnerships with leaders, anticipate organizational needs before they become challenges, develop talent pipelines, and help teams navigate growth and change.

You are equally comfortable discussing business strategy with senior leaders, coaching managers through complex people situations, and driving initiatives that enhance employee experience and organizational performance.

If you are energized by working at the intersection of people, technology, and business transformation, we'd love to hear from you!
