Be part of a movement that moves the world

At ASICS, we’re more than just a brand; we're a movement. A movement of movement, propelled by the belief that motion strengthens the body and uplifts the mind. Our name itself, an acronym for "Anima Sana in Corpore Sano" (a Sound Mind in a Sound Body), encapsulates this commitment. Since taking our first step in Japan in 1949, our journey has been about more than just reaching the finish lines or clocking the fastest times. It's about the joy of moving and it's open to all.

If you're inspired to move yourself and the world toward a brighter, more inclusive future, we're looking for you.

Here at ASICS, we welcome diversity in our people, their backgrounds and life experiences. So, you could be the right person for this role regardless of your age, nationality, religious beliefs, or gender identification.

Your role in our shared journey

Based at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you will own the HR agenda across two distinct and rewarding populations. As an HR Business Partner to our Operations Management Team at ASICS Europe HQ, you will advise director-level leaders across supply chain, logistics and customer operations on the full spectrum of people matters. Alongside this, you will take ownership of HR for our Emerging Markets — primarily Poland and South Africa — providing consistent, compliant and commercially grounded HR support to our growing retail store network and office staff in these markets.

This is a role with genuine breadth. No two days will look the same: one morning you are in a calibration session with the Ops Management Team in Hoofddorp; the next, you are navigating a complex ER matter in Poland or supporting hiring a store manager in South Africa. You will manage one HR Advisor (a hire you will shape yourself), partner closely with our Centres of Excellence, and help shape the future direction of HR at ASICS. If you thrive on variety, ownership and the chance to build something , this is the role for you.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • HR Business Partnering - serve as trusted HR advisor to the Operations Management Team (supply chain, logistics, customer operations); advise director-level leaders on people matters, ER, Dutch labour law and performance; build manager capability across the Ops function.
  • Emerging Markets HR - own HR for both office staff and ASICS retail stores in Poland and South Africa (and evolving EM markets); manage ER, employment law compliance and store-level HR support; partner with local counsel to ensure consistent, compliant practices.
  • HR Cycle Delivery - lead performance management, calibration and succession planning for Ops and EM populations; roll out EMEA-wide HR programmes locally; drive HR compliance requirements including pay transparency.
  • Personnel Cost Budget - build and manage the annual personnel cost budget for Operations and Emerging Markets; track actuals and provide HR data and insight to business leaders.
  • Policy & Projects - maintain and update policies for NL and EM employment legislation; contribute to ASICS HR projects (skills-based career mapping, HRIS enhancement); identify compliance risks and engage legal counsel as needed.
  • People Leadership - manage, develop and coach one HR Advisor direct report; build their capability to support day-to-day HR delivery for both populations.

You Have The Following Skills And Experience

  • 6+ years as an HRBP or HR Generalist in an international, fast-paced, matrix environment, with hands-on ownership across the full HR generalist agenda.
  • Fluency in Dutch or Polish (one is required, both is great); strong working knowledge of the corresponding employment law - Dutch Labour Law for NL-based ER and MT advisory, or Polish Labour Law for the Emerging Markets scope.
  • International and cross-border HR experience - comfortable navigating different employment law environments and supporting populations across multiple countries.
  • Credible and confident at Management Team level - able to advise, challenge and build relationships with director-level stakeholders.
  • Experience with SAP or similar HRIS systems, with strong Excel skills for personnel cost budgeting and HR reporting.
  • Resilient and self-directed - energised by variety, comfortable operating without a fully defined roadmap, and able to manage competing priorities across geographies.
