For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V.(YME), located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking for a HR Officer in our HR Division.

About the role:
Under direction of the HR Business Lead, the HR Officer executes the HR administration in a timely and correct manner, to contribute to a complete and correct Human Resources administration in line with the company policies and legal and requirements. The HR Officer is contact person for first line HR questions. The HR Officer provides all necessary information in the personnel information system and contributes to the improvement of processes, the delivery of HR projects and relevant HR reports. The HR Officer supports with projects and Arbo/illness matters.

Your responsibilities:

HR Administration:
• Responsible for the correct process of HR administration for all employees (internal, external, expats /Japanese colleagues), supporting the HR processes within the department.
• Ensure all administration is up to date, correct and according to tax and legal requirements.
• Being part of the full scope of HR process (Onboarding to Offboarding).

First Line HR Questions:
• The HR officer is the point of contact regarding first-line HR questions (from management or employees) in accordance with legal regulations & the Yamaha Staff Manual.
• The HR Officer coordinates HR related issues/questions to support Management/Employees in the best possible way. When necessary, complex issues will be continued to the HRBP’s.

Personnel information:
• Provide all necessary personnel information to others within the division to ensure that everyone is up to speed on important issues.
• Take care of the data entry using personnel information system, to have the disposal of correct and up-to-date information about employees at all times within the HR Division for a correct payroll and proper management decisions. Including timely communication to management and employees.

Arbo/Illness:
• Maintain the Arbo policy for Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. in cooperation with management and external parties, to continuously improve the work circumstances.
• The HR Officer has a general support function in case of Arbo/Illness of employees; this includes sick leave administration, maintaining contacts with the healthcare provider and company doctor.

Reporting:
• Correct and timely reporting. Ensure proper data entry, preparation and sending of standard period reports. The possible execution of actions according to the report.

Procedures and guidelines:
• Perform and, if necessary, improve the HR procedures (for example; inflow/ internal flow and outflow) and guidelines.

HR projects & Developments:
• The HR officer contributes to HR projects that are in line with the annual HR plan & the organizational strategy.
• Keep up-to-date and gather information on any changes and developments in legislation, social security and tendencies in society that (might) influence the field of HR, to be able to discuss and participate in departmental meetings and to keep the knowledge of the department on the highest possible level.

What do you bring?
• Experience in a similar position;
• Bachelor’s degree/Education in Human Resource Management;
• Strong communicational skills;
• Well organized:
• Fluency in the English and Dutch language.
