· Meet with the Learning & Development Manager and designated subject matter experts to understand current UKG processes, common administrator tasks, and documentation needs.

· Document step-by-step procedures for UKG administrator activities in a clear, accurate, and user-friendly format.

· Develop an organized procedure manual that reflects SFCU-specific terminology, workflows, policies, and approval processes.

· Capture screenshots, process notes, decision points, and troubleshooting tips where appropriate and approved.

· Identify inconsistencies, knowledge gaps, or opportunities to improve clarity in existing UKG-related processes.

· Draft, revise, and finalize documentation based on feedback from the Learning & Development Manager and other stakeholders.

· Maintain confidentiality of employee, payroll, benefits, and organizational information encountered during the internship.

· Develop professional skills in business process analysis, technical writing, documentation design, and project organization.

· Understand how HR, payroll, learning, and operations teams rely on accurate system procedures and data integrity.

· Practice effective workplace communication through meetings, interviews, feedback cycles, and project reporting.

· Produce a meaningful final deliverable that supports administrator training, process consistency, and long-term organizational knowledge retention.

Qualifications
• Current college student eligible to complete an unpaid internship, with preference for applicants seeking academic credit through their college or university.
• Interest in human resources, business administration, learning and development, information systems, communications, technical writing, or a related field.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to organize complex information into clear, practical instructions.
• Comfortable learning new technology platforms and asking clarifying questions.
• Professional discretion and commitment to confidentiality.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, and basic office productivity tools preferred.
Schedule and Credit Expectations
The internship schedule, hour expectations, and academic deliverables will be determined in coordination with the selected student, their college or university program requirements, and SFCU business needs. SFCU will make reasonable efforts to support required internship learning agreements, faculty or advisor oversight, hour tracking, evaluations, and academic documentation when applicable. Internship expectations may be adjusted, within the core goals of the role, to help the student meet approved academic credit requirements.
