Role Description The Human Resources Director is a full-time, hybrid role based in the United Arab Emirates, with a mix of onsite work and some work from home. This role oversees the HR function, including developing and implementing HR policies, driving performance management frameworks, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws. The Human Resources Director manages employee relations, leads HR planning and workforce development, and provides strategic HR guidance to leadership. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising HR operations, advising on complex employee issues, supporting recruitment and onboarding processes, and coordinating training and development initiatives. The role also involves monitoring HR metrics, leading continuous improvement in HR practices, and fostering an inclusive, compliant, and high-performing work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Human Resources (HR) management experience, including strategic HR leadership and operational oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and maintain clear and compliant HR Policies.
- Proven expertise in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, employee engagement, and grievance management.
- Experience in Performance Management, including setting frameworks, conducting evaluations, and supporting talent development.
- In-depth knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, preferably within the UAE and GCC region.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office, with solid analytical skills for HR reporting and decision-making.
- Experience in recruitment or HR consultancy, particularly in multi-industry and multi-country talent sourcing, is beneficial.
