Role Description:
The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lekki, with flexibility for some work from home. The role involves overseeing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations to support TecPal’s growing team. The Human Resources Manager will design and implement HR policies, ensure compliance with labor regulations, and develop programs that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture. Day-to-day tasks include partnering with leadership on workforce planning, managing HR data and reporting, coordinating training and development initiatives, and handling compensation and benefits administration. The role also requires proactive support for managers and team members, guiding them through HR processes and promoting TecPal’s values across all campuses and remote teams.
Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess strong expertise in core HR domains such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Candidates should possess skills in HR policy development, compliance with labor laws, and HR documentation and reporting.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in training and development, including organizing workshops, supporting career growth, and building learning programs.
- Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Candidates should possess organizational and analytical skills, including use of HRIS tools, data analysis for HR metrics, and process improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is an advantage.
- Experience in a fast-growing, tech or education-focused organization, preferably in Africa, is beneficial.
