Role Description The Volunteer Lawyer will provide pro bono legal support to Concerned Medics Foundation’s programs and operations. Day-to-day tasks may include reviewing and drafting basic agreements and policies, helping assess regulatory and compliance issues related to healthcare initiatives, and offering guidance on risk management and data protection. The role may involve supporting the organization in understanding charity and nonprofit regulations, assisting with governance documents, and advising on ethical and legal considerations in health-related projects. This is a volunteer role with flexible hours, and the position is fully remote, requiring effective communication via email, video calls, and collaborative online tools.

Qualifications

• Legal knowledge and experience in areas such as contract review, nonprofit or charity law, health law, or general civil law.
• Strong skills in legal research, analysis, and drafting clear, accurate documents and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts in accessible language for non-legal stakeholders.
• High ethical standards, sound judgment, and commitment to pro bono service and social impact.
• Comfort working remotely, managing time independently, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Licensed attorney or law graduate (qualification in the UK or another common law jurisdiction is beneficial, but not strictly required where advisory work is general and supervised).
• Prior experience with healthcare, public health, or nonprofit organizations is an advantage.
• Reliable internet access and familiarity with standard productivity and communication tools.
