Job Title: IBM iSeries (AS/400) Infrastructure Administrator – Remote

Location: Colombia,

Experience: 11+ Years

We are seeking an experienced IBM iSeries (AS/400) Infrastructure Administrator – L3 to provide advanced technical support and administration for enterprise IBM I environments.

Key Requirements:

• 11+ years of experience in IBM I / AS400 infrastructure administration.
• Strong expertise in IBM I, Power Systems, LPAR, HMC, and VIOS.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, capacity planning, security, SSL certificates, SSH, and PTF management.
• Strong knowledge of BRMS, backup/recovery, HA/DR, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with storage, IFS, SAN, TCP/IP, tape libraries, and Advanced Job Scheduler.
• Strong experience with HMC and IBM Power firmware upgrades.
• Hands-on VIOS experience including NPIV, Virtual SCSI, SEA, SAN, and Virtual Media Library.
• Ability to lead L3 escalations, mentor L1/L2 teams, and coordinate with IBM/vendors.
• Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.
• Willingness to participate in 24x7 production support/on-call rotations.
