IMDS Coordinator Product - (2-year fixed-term contract)

Coordination of IMDS activities of the Business Area Collaborate with internal departments to acquire product BOM structure and conduct the IMDS-Reporting Main tasks: • define, establish and support a standardized process for the creation, validation and submission of IMDS • IMDS process ownership for supplier IMDS • create and establish documents to give guidance (e.g. how-to, guideline, handbook, checklist etc.) • Be the first conctact person for IMDS activities worldwide and support in IMDS related topics (e.g. internal and external requests about e.g. prohibited and / or declarable substances) • Evaluate suppliers IMDS-submissions, follow-up with suppliers to submit correct IMDS • Manage the creation, validation and submission of IMDS report and understands each customer’s unique requirements • Analyze IMDS data and determine if they are acceptable under the current IMDS criteria; manage corrective action with support from material experts • Training of IMDS users • Support IMDS activities worldwide Advanced knowledge of IMDS system Knowhow of automotive specific rules and standards, in particular IATF16949 CSR, REACH, Directive on End-of-Life Vehicle Fluent English language skills Independent working ability and assertiveness Communication and moderation skills Organizational skills Project management skills The position is initially opened in Timisoara; however, the hiring location may be adjusted based on talent availability.
