Who we are :
We are Qover, a leading insurtech scale-up that has raised $100 million. With an international team of 160+ colleagues based in Brussels and beyond, we help companies orchestrate digital embedded insurance experiences — creating meaningful connections with their community and enabling their success.
Since Qover was founded in 2016, our co-founders have had a clear vision of the future of insurance: it must be simple, transparent, and accessible across borders — a global safety net.
Our platform protects 15M+ users across 32 European countries and works with longstanding partners like Revolut, Mastercard, BMW, Canyon, and Monzo, among many others.
Our services: Qover is transforming the insurance landscape with its innovative B2B2C embedded insurance solutions. We empower leading global brands to offer insurance seamlessly within their own customer journeys. Our unique, abstract configuration layer and robust API-first approach enable unparalleled flexibility and speed. We operate with empowered product teams, committed to continuous discovery and delivering tangible customer and business outcomes based on our standard, scalable product offering.
The Opportunity: As an Implementation Consultant at Qover, you will be the cornerstone of our most technically complex Business Partners' success, guiding them from contract signing to successful go-live. You are a hands-on technical expert, responsible for ensuring the seamless and efficient integration of Qover's product and APIs within our partners' complex environments. This role requires a deep understanding of our technology, exceptional client-facing skills, and a meticulous approach to delivering high-quality, fully functional integrations.
What You Will Do:
- End-to-End Technical Implementation : Lead the technical implementation lifecycle for complex Business Partners, from post-sales handover through technical setup, configuration, testing, go-live, and initial hypercare.
- Deep Technical Integration: Work directly with Business Partners' technical teams (developers, architects, IT) to execute the integration. This involves guiding them through API consumption, data mapping, webhook setup, and leveraging Qover's unique abstract configuration layer to tailor the standard product to their specific, agreed-upon needs.
- Advanced Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Act as the primary technical point of contact for partners during implementation, proactively identifying, diagnosing, and resolving complex integration issues. Effectively communicate technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Configuration & Customization : Apply expert knowledge of Qover's configurable platform to set up, test, and validate partner-specific configurations, ensuring they align with business requirements and technical specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee and participate in technical testing phases (e.g., UAT, integration testing) to ensure data accuracy, system performance, and a smooth user experience post-launch.
- Client Relationship Management: Build strong, trusted relationships with our Business Partners' technical and project teams, managing expectations, communicating progress, and ensuring a positive implementation experience.
- Internal Collaboration & Feedback:
- Technical Product Specialist: Receive comprehensive technical context and solution designs from the pre-sales phase.
- Project Managers, Configurators & Business Analysts : Work hand in hand with Delivery team.
- Product Managers: Provide critical feedback on product gaps, API usability issues, and recurring implementation challenges to inform future product development and productization efforts (e.g., to the Technical Product Specialist).
- Engineering Team: Collaborate closely with engineers for architecture design, API Documentation updates, platform issues, and technical support during complex integrations.
- Customer Success Managers: Ensure smooth transition post-implementation and alignment on ongoing client health.
- Knowledge Contribution & evangelisation : Create and refine implementation best practices, technical guides, FAQs, and internal documentation to continuously improve our implementation methodologies and scale our processes.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Implementation Consultant, Technical Consultant, or Integration Engineer in a B2B SaaS environment, specifically with complex API-driven products.
- Exceptional technical proficiency with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, Webhooks, and modern data integration patterns. Experience with database queries (SQL) and scripting is a plus.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple complex technical implementations simultaneously and drive them to successful completion.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences and building strong client relationships.
- Meticulous problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
- Experience in the FinTech or InsurTech industry (or other regulated industries with complex data/business rules) is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in English is essential; additional languages (especially French, Dutch, German) are a strong asset.
- A highly organized and autonomous mindset, thriving in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
What’s in it for you:
- A flexible work environment: up to three days remote per week and the ability to work from anywhere one month per year
- 28 days off (8 extra days on top of the 20 legal days)
- A nice working space in a great location in Brussels: Qover-dedicated space at WeWork (Rue du Commerce 31) with a large terrace to enjoy team events
- A positive company culture that values teamwork and taking initiative but also having fun, with regular social events
- A collaborative and communal environment where everyone is welcomed, valued and accepted regardless of their nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, philosophical or political views, etc.
- The chance to work among entrepreneurial people, giving you the opportunity to learn and have a real impact at one of Europe’s fastest-growing insurtechs
