Implementation & Workflow Consultant
CMOs approved the AI spend. They bought the tokens. Now they need to show business impact without losing control of brand, compliance, or quality.
That’s why Stensul is getting pulled into the world’s largest brands and their enterprise marketing teams. We help them ship with AI, without losing control.
Stensul is the Governed Creation™ platform for top consumer banks, healthcare firms, and pharma companies, as well as iconic brands like BlackRock, Cisco, Equifax, Siemens, and Thomson Reuters. Our AI tools and controls help them turn human- and AI-generated campaigns into approved, market-ready content faster.
We are looking for an Implementation & Workflow Consultant to lead implementations and design AI-driven workflows for our enterprise customers. Working in a forward-deployed model, you’ll partner with customers from their first discovery call through launch and beyond, configuring Stensul’s integrations and MCP capabilities, removing bottlenecks through automation, and helping them get more value from Stensul over time.
This role is based in New York City and is hybrid, with 3 days per week in our NYC office.
We live by four values: Lead with Customer Value, Garra, Move with Purpose, and Win as a Team. If you enjoy solving complex workflow problems, like getting hands-on with AI and automation, and want to help leading brands put AI to work inside governed enterprise marketing programs, keep reading.
What You’ll Do
Sitting within the Success Services team and reporting to the Director of Professional Services,, the Implementation & Workflow Consultant works in a forward-deployed model, embedded with Stensul customers from their first discovery call and throughout the partnership. This role leads implementations, solves workflow challenges through AI-driven automation, and serves as a consultative partner focused on the long-term health and growth of each customer’s email program.
You will work with customers both pre- and post-sales to define their specifications, functionality, and workflows, then design the solutions that bring them to life, configuring Stensul’s integrations and MCP (Model Context Protocol) capabilities to streamline how their teams build email. Cross-functional collaboration with Customer Success Managers, Solutions Consultants, Product, and Engineering will be key to your every day.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role with significant visibility across Success Services and the broader Stensul organization, acting as the critical bridge between customer needs, Stensul’s platform, and our product roadmap.
Specific responsibilities include:
Lead Implementations: Own onboarding end-to-end for each new customer, including leading discovery calls, creating and reviewing email design specifications, project managing the build and testing with implementation developers, and configuring the customer instance through launch
Integrate & Automate: Identify workflow bottlenecks across the email creation process and design solutions using Stensul’s AI and MCP capabilities, connecting Stensul to the ESPs/MAPs, workflow platforms, and other tools in each customer’s stack
Manage Projects: Own timelines, milestones, resourcing, and stakeholder communication across multiple concurrent engagements, keeping projects on track and escalating risks early
Partner Year-Round: Lead ongoing services engagements after launch, running regular consultative reviews of adoption, governance, and program performance, and recommending enhancements to each customer’s email program and platform experience
Drive Retention & Growth: Surface opportunities to expand the value customers get from Stensul, such as new teams, integrations, automations, and services, partnering with Customer Success and account teams on renewals and expansion
Serve as a Technical Advisor: Guide customers on integration strategies and technical approaches, and lead technical escalations by coordinating resolution across Client, Support, Services, Success, and Engineering teams
Collaborate with Product & Engineering: Translate real-world customer needs into clear requirements, share field feedback that shapes the roadmap, and help validate new features and releases with customers
Enable Customers: Train technical and non-technical users alike, create customer documentation, and support adoption of new feature releases through education and troubleshooting
Scale What Works: Turn repeatable solutions and automations into documentation, templates, and playbooks that make future deployments faster and more consistent
