Influencer Outreach Specialist

This is a remote position.

Big Ideas is a fast-growing startup based in Manila servicing clients based in the United States by helping them outsource their operations and other business processes to the Philippines.

We are seeking a high-velocity, execution-driven Influencer Outreach Specialist with dedicated experience in the beauty and skincare space to power creator activation programs for two premier US beauty brands: Patchology (micro-creator high-frequency seeding) and Kate Somerville (tiered authority outreach). Reporting directly to brand marketing leads and managers, this is a daily execution and high-cadence volume role centered on sourcing creators, driving outreach, managing end-to-end sample fulfillment, and converting contacts into organic brand advocacy. Upon successful completion of the evaluation period, the contractor's performance will be reviewed, potentially leading to a contract renewal that may include a benefits package.

• High-Volume Daily Outreach: Execute 50–75 outbound creator or influencer touches per day across TikTok and Instagram using tailored, brand-aligned messaging (no generic mass-DM copy), using an influencer management platform
  

• Dual-Engine Program Execution: Sourcing and activating creators against strategic briefs for two distinct brand engines:
  

• Patchology (Velocity Engine): High-frequency micro-creator seeding and volume gifting.
  

• Kate Somerville (Authority Engine): Tiered outreach targeting beauty creators, wellness influencers and lifestyle trendsetters.
  

• Sample Fulfillment Workflow & Tracking: Manage end-to-end sample requests including logging creator addresses, submitting accurate warehouse requests, tracking timestamped shipments, and proactively following up to confirm receipt.
  

• Creator Relationship Nurturing & Follow-Ups: Conduct timely post-outreach follow-ups to maintain creator engagement and maximize response-to-posted content conversion rates.
  

• Content Auditing & Compliance Tracking: Monitor, log, and verify live creator posts to ensure accurate product tagging, adherence to brand messaging, and compliance with FTC disclosure guidelines.
  

• Data Logging & Reporting Discipline: Daily and weekly tracking of outreach volume, response rates, sample shipments, and content output using spreadsheets or ShopMy/CRM tracking tools to roll up actionable performance data to brand leads.
  

• CRM & Creator Database Management: Maintain a clean, organized creator directory categorized by creator tiers, skin concerns/niches, platform performance, and engagement metrics.
  

• Daily Alignment & Problem Solving: Participate in daily standups or asynchronous check-ins with brand leaders, proactively troubleshooting stalled responses or shipping delays to maintain continuous workflow velocity
  

Requirements

• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  

• As least 2-3 years prior experience in influencer marketing, social media management, creator recruiting, talent outreach, or affiliate marketing management.
  

• What this job is NOT: Not a community manager, not a content creator, not a paid media buyer.
  

• TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS (MUST-HAVES)
  

• Direct Creator Outreach Experience: Proven experience in hands-on creator outreach on TikTok (including TikTok Shop Creator Marketplace / Affiliate Plan) and Instagram (DM, email, or native outreach tools). Generic social media management is not a substitute.
  

• Seeding Platform Fluency: Direct operational familiarity with ShopMy or comparable creator gifting platforms (Superfiliate, GRIN, Aspire).
  

• Fulfillment Operations Comfort: Hands-on experience working inside sample fulfillment workflows (address logging, warehouse coordination, and timestamped shipment tracking).
  

• Exceptional English Communication: Fluency in written English required to draft personalized, brand-voice outreach messages that build authentic creator connection.
  

• Rigorous Reporting Discipline: Consistent track record of daily/weekly data logging, tracker hygiene, and clear performance reporting.
  

• High comfort working with spreadsheets (Google Sheets, MS Excel) and CRM-style tracking tools to maintain data accuracy.
  

• Self-starter mindset with full comfort working toward daily/weekly outreach targets and performance KPIs.
  

• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  

• Beauty/CPG Industry Background: Hands-on experience in the beauty, skincare, or consumer packaged goods space.
  

• Campaign Structure Knowledge: Ability to differentiate gifting/seeding workflows (low-cost, product-only) from contracted posting waves (negotiated deliverables and paid agreements).
  

• FTC Disclosure Familiarity: Understanding of basic FTC compliance requirements for influencer gifting and sponsored content.
  

• Experience utilizing AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) with strong prompting skills to optimize outreach copy generation and communication efficiency.
  

• Prior experience supporting US-based clients or working in a remote agency ecosystem.
  

• REQUIREMENTS FOR REMOTE WORK
  

• Eligible to legally work as a remote freelancer or contractor based in the Philippines.
  

• Natural-born Filipino citizen or Foreigner with a working VISA or permit to legally work in the Philippines.
  

• Has own computer or laptop capable of handling the rigorous demands of work.
  

• Has a fast and reliable internet connection at home (at least 200-300 MBPS)
  

• Has a quiet and distraction free work environment at home.
  

• Willing to work in graveyard shifts or changing shift US schedules.
  

HOURS OF WORK

• Work from home. Full-time freelancer, contractual position
  

• Full-time, 40 hours per week (8 guaranteed paid hours per workday, Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour unpaid break).
  

• US Time Zone / Graveyard Shift 9:00AM to 6:00 Eastern EST, USA time zone
  

• US Holidays are observed off (unpaid during trial); PH Holidays are regular workdays. Overtime requires prior client approval.
  

Benefits

• COMPENSATION: $7 to $10 per hour GROSS rate depending on experience
  
• TAXATION: As per Philippine Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations, professional fees for self-employed individuals are subject to a 5% or 10% Expanded Withholding Tax (EWT) . The final tax will be calculated based on the freelancer's submission of a valid Certificate of Registration (COR) as self-employed.
  
• CONTRACT: This is a 3-month long freelancing trial contract (full-time) that can be done remotely at home with a computer and a fast and reliable internet connection. There are no benefits for Freelancers during the evaluation period.
  
• POSSIBLE RENEWAL: However, if the Client decides to renew the contract there may be certain benefits such as paid sick leaves, paid vacation leaves, HMO health insurance and 13th month pay. These are not guaranteed and everything will depend on performance and client discretion.
  
• REPORTING TO: Although you will be reporting directly to the designated manager from our client, you will also be reporting to and will be supervised by Big Ideas Social Media Inc, who is the consultant and service provider (Agency) of the US business. Big Ideas will be the ones to provide your compensation and other HR and administrative needs locally.
  
• LEGAL STATUS: You will be classified as “Self-Employed” when it concerns legality and taxation. You will not be considered an employee of our Client or Big Ideas Philippines but instead, you will be a self-employed freelance professional.
