IT Project Manager – Dublin City | Hybrid | Contract

What you need to know

We are recruiting an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong technical infrastructure background for a well-established financial services organisation based in Dublin City.

This contract role offers a hybrid working model and will focus on managing infrastructure disaster recovery (DR) projects, resilience testing and recovery solutions across a complex enterprise IT environment.

You will combine strong project management experience with an in-depth understanding of IT infrastructure, disaster recovery processes and technical dependencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the planning, execution and delivery of moderate to large-scale infrastructure and disaster recovery projects, including project resources, timelines, deliverables and stakeholder reporting.
• Lead disaster recovery planning, testing and remediation activities across multiple infrastructure teams, including recovery validation, issue resolution and continuous improvement.
• Work with infrastructure engineers and application owners to assess technical dependencies, recovery requirements and infrastructure resilience solutions.
• Act as a key point of contact during DR events, coordinating communication between technical teams and IT leadership, and coordinate high-availability, failover and infrastructure resilience solutions.
• Manage project documentation, change control, risk assessments and compliance requirements, while supporting DR automation initiatives and disaster recovery projects involving private, public and hybrid cloud technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing complex IT infrastructure projects within large enterprise environments, with a strong technical infrastructure background.
• Demonstrated experience in disaster recovery planning, testing, infrastructure resilience and business continuity.
• Broad technical understanding of servers, networking, storage, databases, operating systems, virtualisation, high availability, failover, replication and backup technologies.
• Strong project planning, resource management, risk management, reporting and stakeholder management skills, with experience using ServiceNow and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS or a related discipline. Experience with VMware vRO, Fusion, DR automation, Control-M, ETL, mainframe, messaging, middleware, cloud infrastructure or regulated environments is desirable.
