Purpose of the Position

To ensure the reliable operation, protection, and continuous modernization of B. Braun’s enterprise storage, backup, recovery, and virtualization environments, delivering secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure services that support critical healthcare operations and business growth worldwide.

Responsibilities

  1. Administer enterprise storage platforms (Pure Storage, Dell EMC, NetApp, Fujitsu, SAN/NAS).
  2. Manage backup and recovery solutions (Commvault, Veeam, cloud backup services).
  3. Perform backup, restore, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience operations.
  4. Support Azure Storage, Azure Backup, and Azure Site Recovery.
  5. Administer Windows Server environments and storage integration.
  6. Manage virtualization platforms, including replication and recovery.
  7. Develop automation using PowerShell, Python, and infrastructure management tools.
  8. Support storage, backup, cloud migration, and technology refresh initiatives.
  9. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis.
  10. Maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • 5+ years of experience in Storage, Backup, Virtualization, or Infrastructure Operations.
  • B2+ English proficiency
  • Pure Storage, Dell EMC, NetApp, Fujitsu
  • SAN technologies, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience concepts
  • Commvault and/or Veeam
  • VMware and/or other virtualization platforms
  • Windows Server
  • Microsoft Azure (Storage, Backup, Site Recovery)
  • PowerShell and Python
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in global enterprise environments.
