The Impact of an Instructional Designer at Coupa: Instructional Designers at Coupa create and maintain best-in-class eLearning, instructor-led, and virtual instructor-led content for Coupa focused role based training to serve customers, partners, and employees. They have a solid knowledge of instructional design, adult learning theory, and technical training best practices. They must possess a strong bias for action and an unwavering commitment to making our internal and external customers and partners successful. What You'll Do: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to identify learning needs and define objectives. Design and develop impactful learning solutions for customers, partners, and employees across multiple formats (e.g., online, ILT, vILT). Apply instructional design principles to create engaging content, including scripts, storyboards, and multimedia assets. Use authoring tools to build interactive learning experiences and ensure content meets quality and style standards. Manage end-to-end content development projects, working closely with SMEs, curriculum managers, and delivery teams. What You Will Bring to Coupa: 2+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or technical training, ideally in a SaaS/software environment. Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging learning content and documentation. Proficient with instructional design methodologies and tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, and Microsoft Office. Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.
