The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with an integration platform such as Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi or similar iPaaS technologies, and understands API-based, event-driven, batch, and file-based integration patterns.
This role will work closely with Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Business Systems and application owners to ensure integrations are designed appropriately, operate reliably, and support business processes end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Development & Architecture
Design, develop, and implement integrations between enterprise applications using Workato, MuleSoft, or other iPaaS/integration technologies.
Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, events, middleware, message queues, and file-based interfaces.
Develop reusable integration components, connectors, recipes/flows, APIs, and transformation logic.
Integrate systems such as: Salesforce, workday, Netsuite, Data and BI platforms
Translate business requirements into scalable integration solutions and technical designs.
Partner with Enterprise Architecture to ensure integrations follow established architecture, security, data, and integration standards.
Integration Operations & Production Support
Own the day-to-day health and reliability of production integrations.
Monitor integration jobs, APIs, workflows, queues, and data transfers.
Establish and maintain monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and operational metrics.
Investigate integration failures and determine root causes.
Perform production triage and coordinate resolution across application owners, engineering teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Manage integration incidents and ensure timely resolution based on business impact and SLA.
Identify recurring failures and implement permanent fixes rather than relying on manual remediation.
Maintain runbooks and operational documentation for critical integrations.
Help establish clear ownership and triage guidelines when an integration crosses multiple systems and application teams.
