Interim Contracts Counsel

Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for an Interim, Part-Time Contracts Counsel specializing in life sciences agreement.

Overview: Our client seeks a skilled and experienced transactional attorney to assist with a variety of agreements, including clinical trial agreements.

Company: Our client is a clinical stage organization focusing on myeloma and blood-based cancers.

Experience: Eight to more years’ experience advising on the review, negotiation, and drafting of commercial agreements for life sciences clients.

Location: Remote, with a preference for East Coast Hours.

Responsibilities Include:

• Review, negotiate and draft a variety of commercial agreements, including clinical trial agreements (CTAs) (company entering Phase III), non-disclosure agreements, joint venture agreements, and confidential disclosure agreements (CDAs)
• Serve as the point of contact for the client’s commercial and sales teams for contractual issues.
• Advise of any potential legal or economic concerns arising in commercial agreements.
• Liaise with external law firms and UK-based colleagues.

Qualifications Include:

• Excellent academic and professional credentials including a law degree from a well-respected, national law school.
• Eight or more years, post-law school, advising life sciences clients on a variety of commercial agreements including Phase III CTAs.
• Fastidious attention to detail in oral and written communication.
• Experience working with international clients.

Pay rate: $100-$110

Individual compensation offered for this position within the pay range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
