Intern Investment Risk Unit If you are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the Netherlands and you have strong skills in Excel, Power Query, and Power BI, we'd love to hear from you. We are currently seeking a highly motivated intern (32–40 hours) to join the Investment Risk Unit (IRU). The start date will be 1 September 2026, for a period of 3 – 6 months. As part of the first line of defence, IRU works closely with Investment teams worldwide to ensure well‑structured, balanced, and responsible investment decisions. The unit also leads partner‑risk monitoring activities and continuously enhances the tools, methodologies, and processes that support sound and consistent investment‑risk practices. Main Responsibilities: Provide support in the management of our risk tools including the credit risk rating model (i.e. generation of ratings and process documentation). Support the IRU team in the design and creation of new monitoring reports in Power Bi. Support with any other tasks related to initiatives developed within the Unit to improve processes & risk tools. Qualifications: Student enrolled in a bachelor or master’s degree program in the Netherlands in the field of finance, economics, business administration or similar. Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power Query, and PowerBi is a must. Excellent command of MS Office. Strong interest in credit risk management, impact investing and/or development finance. Strong attention to detail, good time management and self-organization skills. Highly self-motivated and comfortable working partially in a remote environment. You will receive an internship allowance amounting to €500 gross per month for Master students and €400 gross per month for Bachelor’s students, on the basis of 40 hours per week. In case the number of hours is less, the allowance will be calculated pro rata. In case you do not have a public transport (OV) subscription, Oikocredit will reimburse travel expenses on the base of second class public transport.
