🏛️ About ACCELERAS
ACCELERAS KG is a Vienna-based EdTech company. We design, write and implement European projects under Erasmus+, CERV and Horizon Europe with partners in 15+ countries, and develop digital and AI solutions for education and training. More about us: https://acceleras.io
💼 About the internship
Are you studying, or between your studies and your first job? This internship is a learning placement: its purpose is your learning and development. You gain real practical experience in how European projects are designed, written and delivered, following a learning-by-doing approach. Together with your mentor, we design a learning plan around your availability, your learning goals and what is happening in our projects at the time.
🧭 Roles and responsibilities
During your internship, you learn by taking part in different roles:
• Project management – learn how tasks and timelines are planned, how we coordinate with partners, and how kick-off meetings, transnational project meetings and online meetings are prepared
• Funding and proposals – learn how to research calls and partners, and how applications to Erasmus+, CERV and other EU programmes are prepared
• Research – practise desk research and needs analyses, and learn how findings become project materials and reports
• Materials and documentation – learn how training materials, presentations and project documentation are prepared
• Practitioners Academy – take part in our Practitioners Academy and its Pilot & Play events in Vienna
• Workshops and mobilities with EMOTiC – practise hosting workshops for school students, and join EMOTiC's training courses and youth exchanges as a participant
• Your own initiative – develop and run an idea of your own, with your mentor's support
What we agree together:
• A learning schedule that fits around your studies, usually around 20 hours a week or 80 a month
• Your learning goals, and regular reflection on your progress with your mentor
• Taking part in team meetings, so you see how European projects are run
• Open communication with the team
• Representing ACCELERAS respectfully towards participants, partners and the public
📜 Certificates for your Lebenslauf
For every workshop and mobility programme you join, you receive a separate participation certificate. At the end, you receive your internship certificate, which reflects everything you learned and took part in, plus a confirmation for your university.
You also become part of our Practitioners Academy, the community of professionals who take part in our EU projects and its piloting events in Vienna: https://acceleras.io/practitioners-academy.html
Through our partner EMOTiC (https://www.emotic.org), in November and December alone you can join:
• Digital Empowerment through Critical Online Dialogue and Engagement – youth exchange, 2–10 November
• Mediation and Advocacy Competences and Tactics for Sustainable Futures – training course, 10–17 November
• Truth for Youth – 1–5 December
• Youth4GreenPolicy – 5–9 December
🎯 What you gain
• A mentor and regular feedback on your learning goals
• Hands-on insight into how EU-funded projects are designed, written and implemented
• Contacts with partner organisations in 15+ countries
• Support with your Lebenslauf, and a recommendation letter for your future applications
• Through our partner EMOTiC: training as a MUN Chair and in leading MEP simulations, study visits to the UN, the OSCE and other organisations, and priority in the selection for Erasmus+ mobilities
• Perks for the most engaged interns, and the chance to join our team when new projects need additional staff and you bring the expertise they require
👥 Who is this opportunity for
• Students, recent graduates and young professionals at the start of their career, living in Austria and at least 18 years old
• You speak English at B1 level or above
• You are motivated, reliable and curious about EU projects, education and European cooperation
• You enjoy meeting people and bringing them together

🤝 Why we offer this internship
Our internship programme is part of our corporate social responsibility and one of our offers to give emerging youth and young professionals practical learning experience.
Our internships are pro bono: they are unpaid and not reimbursed, and they do not replace any staff work or staff roles. We carry the costs of the office, mentoring and the programmes you join, so you can learn, grow and gain experience.
📩 How to apply
Apply here on LinkedIn with your Lebenslauf. We then invite you to a short call to agree on your learning goals and schedule. Before the call, we ask you for a short video about yourself and your interests.
