What will you do?

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll become a trusted advisor to your clients. They’ll know they can turn to you with their accounting questions and rely on you to help them move forward.

You will:

manage and support accounting assignments for a portfolio of international clients;

• assist clients in preparing interim financial statements and annual accounts and reports;

• independently manage your assignments while gradually taking ownership of more complex cases;

• build strong relationships with your clients and become a trusted point of contact;

• look beyond the figures, identify client needs and spot opportunities to connect them with other Grant Thornton experts;

• work in a multidisciplinary environment, giving you exposure to different areas of expertise;

• take on increasingly challenging assignments as your experience and responsibilities grow.

Your audit experience gives you a strong foundation. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to use that expertise in a role that brings you closer to the client and their business.

This opportunity is particularly well suited to someone coming from Audit who wants more variety, ownership and day-to-day client interaction.

You recognise yourself in the following:

• You have at least 2 years of experience in Audit.

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy & Tax or a Master’s degree in an economics-related field.

• You communicate confidently and professionally.

• You have a good command of Dutch and English, as many of your clients operate in an international environment.

• You are eager to move beyond assurance and develop your skills in accountancy, advisory and client relationship management.

• You have a genuine passion for numbers and are always keen to learn more.

• You are flexible and enjoy working with different clients, sectors and challenges.

• You’re motivated to gradually take on greater responsibility and continue developing your career.
