International Trade Specialis

Role Description The International Trade Specialist will support research, analysis, and coordination of cross-border trade activities and opportunities featured by Next-Gen Jobs. This part-time, hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with a combination of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring international trade policies, market trends, and regulations, preparing concise reports and briefings, and assisting in the evaluation of opportunities in global markets. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to provide accurate trade-related insights for content, employer partnerships, and candidate guidance, while maintaining organized documentation and timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and research abilities, including experience gathering and interpreting data on international markets, trade policies, and economic trends.
• Knowledge of international trade concepts, such as import/export procedures, trade agreements, tariffs, and compliance requirements.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, summaries, and briefings for non-specialist audiences.
• Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, online collaboration platforms).
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in International Business, Economics, Trade, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Familiarity with the MENA region’s economic and trade landscape is an advantage.
• Professional fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to global trade are beneficial.
