Play a key role in supporting the financial performance and strategic growth of OCBC's consumer banking business. As a Business Performance & Analysis Intern, you'll be part of a dynamic team that provides insights, performance reporting, and financial analysis to support decision-making across the Secured and Unsecured Loans businesses.

To excel in this role, you'll need to be analytical, curious, and proactive in solving business challenges. You'll work closely with finance and business stakeholders to monitor performance, support reporting processes, and participate in strategic projects that enhance business outcomes.

Your ability to interpret data, communicate insights clearly, and manage multiple priorities will be crucial in supporting effective decision-making and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Business Performance Reporting: prepare and support monthly business performance reports for the Secured and Unsecured Loans businesses
  • Performance Analytics: track and analyse key performance indicators to provide insights into business trends and performance drivers
  • Financial Management Support: assist with the preparation of journal entries and supporting documentation for month-end financial closing activities
  • Strategic Projects: support business initiatives and transformation projects that drive operational efficiency and business growth
  • Cards Replatform Programme: assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to support the successful implementation of the Cards Replatform project
  • Process Improvement & Automation: identify opportunities to improve existing reporting and operational processes through automation, Power BI solutions, and data analytics tools
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: work closely with finance, business, and project teams to support reporting requirements and project deliverables
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: provide support on other financial analysis, reporting, and planning activities as assigned

Who You Work With

Global Consumer Financial Services helps individuals and businesses achieve their financial aspirations through a comprehensive range of banking, lending, and wealth management solutions. Within CFS Finance, the Business Performance & Analysis team partners closely with business units to provide financial insights, monitor performance, and support strategic decision-making.

You'll work alongside finance professionals, business stakeholders, and project teams, gaining valuable exposure to how financial analysis, performance management, and business planning contribute to the success of the bank's consumer lending businesses.
