YOUR TEAM
For the team Market Intelligence as part of the Product Strategy department we are looking for working students or interns in the area of market & technology intelligence. The Market Intelligence team is working cross-functionally in CARIAD on topics like ADAS, Cloud, Connectivity, Infotainment, Vehicle Motion & Body functions fostering a unified understanding of the competition and market. We works on continuously identifying & evaluating market & technology developments and their impact on the product & technology strategy. We are a team of curious people with a strong analytical & future mindset – embedded into a worldwide network of the VW Group.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Identify and analyze key & emerging technologies, market developments and upcoming features within the competition or across other industries with the help of our tools, digital platform and input from experts & partners
- Research and evaluate key market & technologic developments, scout leading industry events and prepare management briefings to support strategic decision making
- Strengthen & enhance our market & technology intelligence and its corresponding processes
- Explore, test and implement the possibilities of artificial intelligence to improve our intelligence activities
- Derive potential implications by screening & scouting in the tech industry and market activities for the strategy, innovation and the technology stack of CARIAD
- Continuously manage and improve our digital intelligence, product & technology strategy platform
- Collaborate with other departments on intelligence projects by presenting the results into the organization
WHO YOU ARE
- Enrolled bachelor or master student in a technical or business degree with a focus on Technology Management, Digitalization, Business Informatics, Engineering, Computer Science, Innovation or similar field
- Good to very good academic grades
- Familiarity with competitor analysis, technology scouting, strategy management or similar
- Experiences in utilization or adoption of different AI tools
- Project, internship or working student experience in the tech, software, consulting or automotive industry would be an advantage
- Strong communication skills in English & German necessary
- Proactive mindset, curiosity for technology & innovative topics
- Well-structured, independent work

- Remote work options within Germany
Internship: - Duration: 3 - 6 month
- 35 hours/week
- Salary: 13,90 €/hour
Working Student - Duration: 6 months (with the option to extend up to two years)
- 20 hours/week, up to 35 hours/week during the semester break
- Salary: 17,80€/hour
