At ABB, we help industries run leaner and cleaner—and every person here makes that happen. You’ll be empowered to lead, supported to grow, and proud of the impact we create together. Join us and help run what runs the world.
This position reports to:
O2C Global Transformation Process Owner__
In this role, you will help shape the future Invoice-to-Cash (I2C) process landscape for ABB Robotics as part of a major SAP S/4HANA transformation spanning 50+ countries. Working within a globally standardized process model, you will drive the deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement of Invoice-to-Cash processes across billing, accounts receivable, collections, cash application, and dispute management. Working closely with business, finance, and technology stakeholders, you will support process implementation across multiple deployment waves, establish performance measures and controls, develop training and user enablement materials, and identify opportunities for process optimization. You will play a key role in ensuring that global process standards are consistently adopted and translated into sustainable operational excellence.
This is a process transformation role focused on SAP S/4HANA process implementation, adoption, performance management, and continuous improvement, rather than the day-to-day management of I2C operations.
The location of the role is within Europe.
Working model is hybrid
Your responsibilities:
- Design future-state I2C processes: Develop harmonized process designs across billing, accounts receivable, collections, cash application, and dispute management, aligned with the global O2C template and SAP S/4HANA design principles.
- Lead process design and fit-gap activities: Facilitate workshops, capture business requirements, and translate them into scalable SAP S/4HANA process designs and configuration requirements.
- Drive solution realization across deployment waves: Partner with business and technical teams to deliver approved process designs through configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare activities across countries and business units.
- Ensure process quality and deployment readiness: Lead testing activities, support defect resolution, and coordinate go-live readiness to enable successful adoption and stable operations.
- Establish process and data foundations: Define I2C process standards, controls, master data requirements, and performance measures, working closely with data owners to ensure alignment between business processes, data standards, and system capabilities.
- Contribute to the end-to-end O2C blueprint: Provide a coherent I2C design and collaborate closely with the O2C Process Lead to ensure seamless integration with upstream and downstream processes.
Your background:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field,
- 5+ years of experience in Invoice-to-Cash, accounts receivable, billing, or related finance process roles, with deep sub-process expertise across billing, collections, cash application, and dispute management within a multi-entity and multi-country environment.
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing or deploying Invoice-to-Cash processes as part of an SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, or transformation program.
- Strong process knowledge across FI-AR and related Invoice-to-Cash processes, including practical experience leading workshops, fit-to-standard assessments, process design activities, testing, and deployment support.
- Good understanding of I2C master data and enabling technologies, including Business Partner, billing and receivables data structures, e-invoicing requirements, and cash-application tooling.
- Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills, with experience designing processes for shared-services and/or outsourced delivery models and the ability to work effectively across business, finance, and technology teams.
This opportunity is open to candidates in one or more countries covered by the European Pay Transparency Directive. The final work location will depend on the selected candidate. As pay may vary by location, compensation details will be shared with candidates who progress to the first interview stage.
