About 10Beauty
10Beauty is a robotics startup based in Burlington, MA, on a mission to change the beauty and wellness space. They have raised $70M to build the world’s first fully autonomous 5-step manicure machine, and have pre-sold our first 1,000 machines to iconic brands including Ulta Beauty, Nordstrom, Equinox and Marriott. Their first robot launched at Ulta Beauty in Everett, MA, and they are scaling fast with a 60+ person team and deep robotics experience.

The role
We are looking for an iOS Engineer to join the team behind the existing iPad application, which is used to see how our robots are performing, coordinate with partners and vendors, and respond quickly when something needs attention. You will build out new features from our product roadmap, working closely with Product and our full-stack, embedded and ML teams, with a high degree of autonomy.

What you’ll do

• Design and ship new features for an existing, production iPad application
• Work with the full-stack team to integrate cloud APIs and real-time data from our robot fleet
• Contribute to the app’s architecture, code quality, testing and release process
• Turn operational needs into simple, fast and reliable interfaces
• Collaborate with internal engineers and external partner teams
• Use modern AI-assisted tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot) in your daily workflow

What you have

• 4-5+ years of professional iOS development
• Strong Swift, with SwiftUI and/or UIKit
• Experience building and shipping iPad apps, not just iPhone
• Solid knowledge of app architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture or similar) and the ability to explain your design decisions
• Experience with REST APIs and real-time or frequently updating data
• Experience with automated testing, Git and CI/CD
• Comfort joining an existing codebase and shipping independently in a fast-moving startup
• Strong written and spoken English, and availability to overlap with US East Coast mornings

Nice to have

• Experience with robotics, IoT or hardware-connected products
• Experience with operational, dashboard or internal tools
• Familiarity with WebSockets, MQTT or gRPC
• Experience with enterprise distribution (TestFlight, MDM)
• Experience with offline or unreliable connectivity

Benefits

• 20 fully paid business days of vacation
• 15 fully paid sick leaves
• 11+ fully paid public holidays
• well-being compensation — gym, sports, or other wellness activities
• culture perks — gifts and team activities
• access to learning platforms
• English courses compensation
• full remote
