IOS Mobile Application Developer

Role Description This full-time IOS Mobile Application Developer role at XpertCode is a hybrid position based in Distrito Nacional, Dominican Republic, with some work-from-home flexibility. The developer will design, build, and maintain iOS mobile applications, collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and testable code, integrating APIs and third-party services, and optimizing application performance and usability. The role also involves participating in code reviews, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and ensuring applications follow best practices in security, accessibility, and maintainability. The developer will contribute to technical documentation and support continuous improvement of development processes and tooling.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Mobile Application Development and Application Development, with experience delivering production-ready mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with Mobile Applications and iOS Development, including building, testing, and publishing apps to the Apple App Store.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and modern iOS development languages and frameworks (such as Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to debug, profile, and optimize mobile applications for performance and reliability.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Agile or similar development methodologies is beneficial.
