ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. IT Infrastructure & Park Connectivity
- Maintain WiFi support, management, and connectivity standards across all parks — including oversight of third-party WiFi vendors/contractors where applicable, and coordination with in-house support where handled directly.
- Oversee VoIP phone infrastructure (Ubiquiti) — upgrades, standards, and ongoing management
- Establish and enforce hardware standards for park and corporate environments
- Define and manage a clear IT support and escalation path for park-level technology issues
- Support employee technology setup (devices, software, platform access) once HR Compliance initiates onboarding
2. Technology Vendor Management
- Own day-to-day relationships and performance accountability for key technology vendors: Google Suite, Campspot (incl. merchant services), K2/eCamp, Birdeye, Slack, Stadium, Hubspot, Wrike/Project management software, MS 365, Paycor, AI platform, and others as the portfolio evolves
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across core platforms (PMS, CRM, and related systems) — clean, accurate, and standardized data to support reporting, operations, and AI initiatives.
- Manage vendor renewals, service-level agreements, technology stack decisions, and contract negotiations in partnership with the COO.
- Coordinate technology support for newly acquired parks and team members — Property Management system setup, connectivity, communication platforms
- PCI-DSS training, education requirements and security
3. Communication & Workflow Technology
- Administer and expand Slack as Streamside’s primary communication and workflow platform
- Build and maintain department-level Slack workflows that improve accountability and operational efficiency
- Own email platform administration and company-wide communication tool standards
4. Guest-Facing Technology & Innovation
- Serve as systems lead for the call center and AI chatbot/voice assistant initiatives (HubSpot or future platform selection)
- Own the mobile app rollout across the portfolio — vendor coordination, marketing coordination, park onboarding, and ongoing management
- Identify and evaluate technology opportunities that improve the guest experience
- Own and maintain two-way SMS/texting capability across park properties (via PMS/CRM integration or dedicated platform), ensuring guests and staff can reliably send and receive text communications for reservations, check-in, and support requests
5. Access & Cybersecurity Governance
- Partner with HR Compliance on new-hire and termination access protocols; confirm accounts and permissions are set up correctly and on time
- Own workflow troubleshooting and resolution of employee access issues post-onboarding.
- Implement and maintain role-based access policies across all platforms; enforce MFA/SSO and password management standards.
- Monitor vendor and third-party access to company systems
- Develop and maintain basic cybersecurity standards and employee awareness practices
- Incident response and staff notification
6. AI Implementation & Technology Roadmap
- Support implementation of AI tools across the organization — researching use cases, piloting platforms, and driving adoption with department leaders
- Act as the primary point of contact for AI tools and workflow automation questions and support requests
- Maintain and update Streamside's technology roadmap in alignment with direction set by the COO
- Identify and recommend opportunities to streamline communications and workflows through automation and integrations
- Partner with the COO to evaluate and implement emerging technology initiatives
Desired Outcomes:
- Reliable, consistent technology infrastructure across all parks — connectivity and hardware issues are resolved quickly and systematically
- Fast, smooth technology setup for new parks and new employees, working hand-in-hand with HR Compliance
- Strong vendor relationships with clear performance accountability
- Clean, reliable data across core systems (PMS, CRM) that leadership can trust for decision-making and reporting
- Successful launch and adoption of call center/chatbot/voice assistant and mobile app initiatives
- Real AI adoption across departments — not just pilots
- Park teams spending less time troubleshooting technology and more time serving guests
Competencies:
- Relationship Management: Builds trust with vendors and internal teams; communicates across technical and non-technical audiences effectively
- Operational Awareness: Understands how technology decisions impact park-level operations and guest experience
- Project Leadership: Drives initiatives from concept to completion, coordinating vendors and internal stakeholders
- Systems Thinking: Sees how platforms and workflows connect across the organization
- Adaptability: Comfortable evolving the role and approach as the company grows and technology changes
- Communication: Translates technical concepts into practical, plain-language solutions for operational teams
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in IT management, technology operations, or technology enablement roles
- Experience supporting multi-location operations; hospitality, outdoor/lodging, or retail environments preferred
- Proven vendor management and technology rollout experience
- Familiarity with property management systems, communication platforms (Slack), and guest-facing technology
- Exposure to AI tools and a track record of driving adoption of new technology
- Strong communicator — comfortable presenting to leadership and working directly with park staff
- Hands-on experience with network infrastructure, VoIP, and hardware management
