IT Systems Administrator – Compliance (f/m/d)

We are looking for an IT Systems Administrator with a focus on Compliance to join our Corporate IT team. You’ll share responsibility for global IT support and be the person who makes our IT governance, identity management and security compliance work in practice. Reporting to the Head of IT & Compliance, you’ll work closely with our Infrastructure and People & Culture teams. You’ll do well here if you are precise, work by the process, and care about getting security and data privacy right.

Your time is split roughly 50/50: half in our global IT support (shared rotation with a second System Administrator), half on IT compliance and security topics.

Tasks

• Act as first responder for global IT support tickets (Jira/Slack) during your weekly rotation, resolving Tier 1–3 issues and keeping SLAs high

• Run employee onboarding and offboarding, including manual steps where automation isn't in place yet

• Lead the technical side of our SOC 2 / ISO 27001 readiness: manage the Vanta integration, gather technical evidence and close gaps in technical controls

• Enforce endpoint security policies (ESET, VPN usage) across the company

• Follow documented remote-wipe procedures for all offboarded hardware before it is shipped

• Audit active users, privileged access, shadow IT and admin changes in our core business systems on a regular basis

• Enforce SaaS governance rules and make sure all tools comply with our password and lifecycle policies

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration, corporate IT or IT security

• Solid hands-on experience with access management (SSO/MFA), endpoint security and user lifecycle processes

• Strong skills in administering Google Workspace, Slack and Atlassian (Jira/Confluence)

• Close attention to detail and to processes for data privacy (GDPR) and security protocols

• A service mindset, clear communication and enjoyment of working closely with colleagues across countries

• Fluent English and Romanian

• Based in Romania, with regular presence at our Cluj-Napoca office

Nice to have

• Experience with IT compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) or compliance tools such as Vanta, or a strong interest in growing into this area

• Scripting/automation skills (e.g. Python, Google Apps Script)

• Fluent in German
