Are you eager to gain hands-on experience with SAP software development while exploring how Artificial Intelligence can enhance enterprise solutions? At Vaillant Group, you will work alongside experienced SAP developers and solution experts, contributing to the continuous improvement of our SAP application landscape and learning modern development practices in an international environment.

• In your role as a Working Student IT, you will support our SAP RICEFW team in maintaining and enhancing SAP applications based on ABAP and SAP Fiori technologies.

• You will help organize, review, and improve technical documentation, ensuring that knowledge is properly structured and accessible across the team.

• Together with experienced developers, you will investigate and evaluate Artificial Intelligence capabilities and use cases for SAP development, including tools such as SAP Joule, Microsoft Copilot, and Claude/GPT.

• You will have the opportunity to actively explore how Generative AI can support software development, code analysis, documentation maintenance, and developer productivity within SAP environments.

• You will gradually build your expertise in SAP ABAP and SAP Fiori through mentoring, training, and hands-on development activities.

• Your responsibilities will include supporting the implementation of SAP Notes, analyzing existing solutions, performing testing activities, and contributing to smaller development enhancements.

• You will assist in implementing user extensibility and customization scenarios for SAP Fiori applications, helping improve user experience and business processes.

• Working closely with ABAP developers, Fiori developers, Solution Architects, and Business Analysts, you will gain insight into enterprise software development processes and modern SAP technologies.

• Through continuous learning and collaboration, you will contribute to process improvements and innovative initiatives that increase development efficiency and quality.

What makes us successful together

• Qualification: You are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field.

• Experience: You have gained initial experience through university projects, internships, coursework, or personal initiatives involving software development, web technologies, or enterprise applications.

• Know-how and skills: You possess knowledge of object-oriented programming and programming concepts (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and have an interest in software development and modern business applications.

• Nice to have: First exposure to SAP technologies, ABAP, SAP Fiori, databases, web development, Git, or Artificial Intelligence tools and technologies would be considered an advantage.

• Personality: You are curious, proactive, eager to learn, and enjoy solving technical challenges while collaborating in an international team environment.

• Language skills: You communicate confidently in English, both written and spoken.
