Java Developer

MC is looking for a Java Developer to join an exciting project in Lisbon, working in a hybrid model. If you are passionate about backend development, modern Java technologies, and secure application design, we'd like to hear from you.

Your Role

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Java 17.
• Design and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT (JSON Web Tokens).
• Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to software design, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Ensure application performance, security, and reliability..

What We Are Looking For

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Java 17.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Security.
• Proven experience implementing authentication and authorization using JWT.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Microservices Architecture.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Your Profile

• 3+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Lisbon.
