Join Our Engineering Talent Community About Invoca Invoca is an AI-powered revenue execution platform that brings together marketing, commerce, and contact center teams to turn every customer interaction into measurable, profitable growth. Join our dynamic, fast-growing team, where innovation and collaboration are at the core of our culture. About This Opportunity & Our Talent Community While we may not have an active, immediate opening for every specialty today, we are always looking to connect with exceptional engineers for upcoming opportunities across our engineering organization. By submitting your interest here, you are joining the Invoca Engineering Talent Community. This allows our team to review your background, learn about your career goals, and reach out directly as active roles open in your domain and level—whether that is product development, reliability, security, data, quality, or architecture. Below, you’ll find our standard Software Engineer profile—giving you a direct look into where our engineering team is headed, how we work with agentic AI, and what we look for when active positions open. About the Engineering Team at Invoca Invoca is building an agentic development environment, one where software is increasingly designed, written, tested, deployed, and operated with AI as a first-class collaborator, not an experiment on the side. Every engineering discipline at Invoca, from reliability and security to data, quality, and product development, is being asked to rethink how work gets done in that environment. Roles are not defined by a single tool or technology stack. They are defined by outcomes: the speed, quality, and trust that your discipline brings to how Invoca ships AI-powered products. Whatever your specialty, you own a meaningful piece of how software moves from idea to customer impact, and you're expected to get better at making that piece faster, safer, and smarter over time. Success in your role is measured by outcomes, not activity: the reliability, quality, or speed you bring to your part of the system, how well you apply AI and agentic tools to your own work, and how much your team can count on you as you grow. What You'll Do Own Your Piece of the Outcome Take clear accountability for a defined part of Invoca's engineering lifecycle in your domain, whether that's reliability, security, data, quality, delivery, customer deployment, or architecture. Hold yourself to a high bar for what “good” looks like in your work, even before others are asking for it. Build with the Agentic Development Era Use AI and agentic workflows in your day-to-day work, testing, code review, incident response, data validation, or similar, wherever they meaningfully improve speed or quality. Bring new AI-assisted approaches to your team and help others see what's possible. Contribute to Standards, Not Just Follow Them Follow and help strengthen shared practices and tooling in your domain, and flag where team-specific workarounds are creating friction. Look for opportunities to turn what you've learned into something reusable for your team. Connect Your Work to Outcomes Beyond Your Desk Understand how your work affects your team's velocity, quality, or customer trust, and make decisions with that in mind. Communicate the reasoning behind your technical choices in terms your team and stakeholders care about. Grow Your Technical Craft and Influence Build a track record of reliable, high-quality delivery in your domain. Seek feedback, learn from senior engineers, and steadily grow your ability to influence decisions beyond your immediate tasks. What We're Looking For We're looking for engineers who want to own outcomes, not just tickets. We are seeking exceptional talent at the Software Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Staff Engineer levels This description represents roles spanning all specializations across Software Engineering. You likely have: Solid experience in your engineering specialization, with examples of work that held up in production. Curiosity about AI and agentic workflows, and a willingness to try new tools rather than defaulting to how things have always been done. Good technical judgment with a bias toward simple, working solutions over elaborate ones. Ability to explain your technical decisions in terms non-experts can understand. Comfort partnering with teammates across engineering, product, and other functions. Ownership mindset, curiosity, and adaptability in a fast-moving, evolving technical environment. How We Measure Success Within 6 to 12 months, success in an Engineering role at Invoca will look like: The part of the system you own shows clear, measurable improvement, whether that's fewer incidents, faster cycle time, better data quality, better test coverage, or similar, depending on your specialty. You've applied AI or agentic tools to your own workflow in ways that measurably save time or improve quality. Your team trusts you with larger or more ambiguous pieces of work than when you started. You can clearly explain how your work connects to team and customer outcomes. You're seen as someone who raises the bar on your team, not just someone who meets it. Ready to stay connected? If Invoca’s engineering approach aligns with what you're looking for in your next career move, submit your profile below to join the Invoca Engineering Talent Community. We'll reach out as relevant opportunities align with your background!
