Junior Client Accountant

Our client is seeking a Junior Client Accountant to join a high-performing team supporting a global client base with internationally registered entities. Key Responsibilities Perform day-to-day transactional accounting tasks, including journal postings, reconciliations, and financial data processing Maintain accurate books and records for client entities, ensuring completeness and audit readiness Support accounts payable/receivable processes, including invoice handling and payment tracking where required Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies Assist with the collation of financial data for Fund Annual Returns (FARs) and other reporting requirements Liaise with clients to gather supporting documentation and resolve data queries Support month-end and year-end close processes through preparation of schedules and working papers Assist with invoicing activities, including data validation and reconciliation Ensure all financial records are maintained in line with internal controls and procedures Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 1–3 years’ experience in a transactional finance role (e.g. AP, AR, reconciliations, finance operations) gained within financial services or advisory Strong understanding of core accounting processes and controls Strong Excel skills (e.g. lookups, basic formulas, data handling) Able to manage high volumes and meet deadlines in a structured environment Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
