Apply now Junior Financial Controller About the Position This position is based in our Bucharest office and is part of Systematic’s Global Business Services area. As a Financial Controller, you will join a team of 10 colleagues currently supporting all Systematic subsidiaries. You will report directly to the Finance Manager and play a key role in ensuring high-quality financial operations across the organization. Your Impact as a Junior Financial Controller In this role, you will take an active part in managing end-to-end accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), General Ledger (GL), cost accounting, payroll, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, intercompany transactions, and consolidation. Your key responsibilities will include: Reviewing and reconciling relevant balance sheet accounts; Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes; Ensuring accuracy and quality control over financial transactions and reporting; Assisting with ad hoc financial analyses and requests; Supporting payroll postings and the preparation of tax declarations (including VAT). Are You the Talent We’re Looking For? Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; 2 years of combined accounting and finance experience; Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar role; Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures; Proficiency in ERP systems and solid IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Experience working with BI/reporting tools and familiarity with AI-driven environments is an advantage; Fluent in English, with the ability to thrive in an international work environment.
