We’re looking for our new team member!
Do we have your attention?
Turn strong ideas into coherent visual worlds. As a Junior Graphic Designer (20h/week) at HOLZKERN, you will create static and simple motion assets for product launches, campaigns, Meta and CRM. Bring your eye for typography, composition and authentic materials, and grow with a team that shares ideas, gives practical feedback and helps you develop your own visual judgement.
Your areas of responsibility
- Design and refine static assets and simple animations for campaigns, Meta, CRM and product launches.
- Adapt layouts, crops and variations across formats while maintaining strong composition and a coherent visual family.
- Apply and refine established templates, layout systems and visual standards; contribute selective new ideas within an agreed brief.
- Make authentic product materials, details and distinctive features visible. Check product references, claims and image sources carefully.
- Iterate on design feedback and available creative results, and help improve reusable creative systems.
- Prepare accurate file naming, dimensions, editable originals, exports and handovers. Review your work before delivery.
- Collaborate with Graphics, Photo, Video, Copy and Performance, and flag missing inputs, dependencies and risks early.
Your profile
- A strong foundation in graphic design, supported by education and a compelling portfolio of practical work.
- A confident eye for typography, composition, visual hierarchy, colour and detail.
- Practical Adobe Creative Cloud skills: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects.
- An organised, reliable way of working; able to execute independently within an agreed brief and existing visual systems.
- Curiosity, initiative, openness to feedback and a collaborative approach.
- Good working skills in German and English.
- Experience working constructively with AI tools for systems and imaging, with careful attention to product fidelity and QA.
- Valuable additional experience: campaign, Meta/social, CRM, e-commerce design, motion design, Figma, scalable templates and print adaptations.
