Would you like to help develop and deliver satellite test systems that support some of the most advanced space programs? In this role, you will transform customer requirements into robust technical solutions, from design and implementation to testing and delivery. Come and join us!

We are facing an exciting future with considerable growth and demanding changes. We continue to evolve our advanced technologies and mission critical solutions for the defense and aerospace industry to deliver real-world solutions that matter to the security of people on land, at sea and in the air. Therefore, we are looking for Senior Systems Engineer to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.

Your role as part of the team

As our new Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and testing satellite test systems based on customer requirements. You will work across the full solution lifecycle, combining software development, engineering expertise, and hands-on testing to deliver high-quality solutions for customers in the space industry.

You will join a highly dynamic team supporting a successful product within the space industry. Together, the team designs, configures, assembles, integrates, tests, and delivers products to satellite manufacturers around the world. The team values collaboration, knowledge sharing, curiosity, and continuous learning, creating an environment where people and technology develop together.

Technical skills matter, but your mindset matters even more. If you consider yourself curious, collaborative, and motivated by solving complex technical challenges in a structured way while bringing your own perspective and ideas, you could be a great addition to our team.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

In this role, you will contribute to a range of tasks across your area of responsibility. Your key responsibilities include:

    • Understanding customer requirements and translating them into technical solutions for satellite test systems
    • Design, implement, and test system solutions, ensuring quality and reliability throughout the development process
    • Develop software solutions using technologies such as C++ and Python in GNU/Linux environments
    • Work with test equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters to validate and troubleshoot solutions
    • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders throughout design, integration, testing, and customer delivery activities.

Bring your expertise into play

To thrive in this role, we imagine that you bring some of the following qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical discipline
    • Experience with GNU/Linux systems and software development
    • Knowledge of C++ and Python programming
    • Experience working with version control systems such as Git
    • Experience with FPGA development and common office tools is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Most importantly, we believe diverse experiences add value to our team and organization. Therefore, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the above requirements.

As we are an international organization, it is important that you are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. German knowledge would be an advantage.

Please also note that valid authorization to work in Austria is required for this position.
