Namaa Partners is hiring a Junior Operations Analyst to support the operational side of the firm's mandates: the reporting, tracking and working documents that let a principal walk into a board or committee meeting with numbers that hold up. The hire carries the recurring cadence from the start, keeping engagement reporting accurate and current across active mandates, and building a clear operating picture of how the firm runs its work. This is an entry-level role with real accountability for the material other people rely on. You will work from Riyadh on a hybrid basis, alongside principals and analysts.
About Namaa Partners
Namaa Partners is a strategy advisory firm working mostly with organizations in Saudi Arabia and with companies that have significant interests there. The work covers corporate strategy, growth and market entry, operating model and efficiency, organization and talent, digital strategy, performance improvement, and governance and risk. Clients include family groups and their holding companies, listed corporations, private equity portfolio companies, banks and insurers, government entities, and industrial operators. Principals scope the mandates and then deliver them, so the analysis that enters a decision is the analysis of the people who signed it.
What You Will Do
The principal who scopes a mandate staffs it and stays with it through delivery. They set what the engagement needs week to week and sign off on anything that goes to a client. As the analyst on a mandate, you report to that principal and to the engagement lead they name, and your tracking documents are part of how they judge where a piece of work actually stands. If something is slipping, the expectation is that you raise it early in plain terms rather than at the deadline. Your read on the numbers is one of the inputs before a decision is taken.
What The Role Offers
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Riyadh, working on a hybrid arrangement. You will see how mandates are scoped and staffed from the inside, sit close to the working sessions where a view gets formed, and learn what a defensible number looks like when a board is asking about it. The exposure spans family groups, listed corporations, financial institutions and government entities, across strategy, operating model and performance work. It is a role for someone who wants to learn the craft by doing the operational part of it properly.
People do well here when they write, when they are comfortable working through ambiguity in a client's own vocabulary, and when they are content to be accountable for a number. You will often be given a question and a rough deadline rather than a set of steps. What matters is that the tracker is current, the pack is right, and the principal who opens it knows what it says before the meeting starts. If that way of working suits you, the first year will be spent learning more about how decisions get made than most junior roles allow.

What You Will Do
- Maintain the active mandate tracker: engagement status, key dates, named owners and the next decision point, updated weekly and circulated before Monday.
- Build and refresh the reporting packs that principals take into board and committee meetings, checking that every figure traces back to its source before it leaves the office.
- Sit in on internal scoping and staffing conversations, take the notes, and turn them into a short written record with owners and dates attached.
- Pull together the firm's operating data on mandate pipeline, utilization and engagement economics, and flag where the numbers have moved.
- Prepare the first draft of client working documents such as issue logs, action registers and meeting minutes, then revise them with the principal who owns the mandate.
- Keep templates and reference material for recurring deliverables consistent, so a new engagement does not start from a blank page.
- A bachelor's degree, or an equivalent record of structured analytical work you can describe plainly.
- Comfort with spreadsheets and slide decks: you can build a clean model of a small dataset and format a page without being asked to fix it twice.
- Writing that another person can read once and act on. Short sentences, clear headings, no filler.
- Care with numbers. You check a total against its parts before you send it, not after someone asks.
- Arabic and English, spoken and written, at a level that lets you follow a client conversation and write up what was decided.
- Willingness to ask what a term means when a client uses it and you are not certain, rather than guessing at it in a document.
