Position Summary
We are looking for a Key Account Expert to support the Key Account Manager in the development and implementation of commercial plans and in the management of customers within scope, in line with business strategies and KPIs.
The role provides direct commercial support across designated accounts, contributes to Trade Spend management, and helps drive sustainable and profitable growth through strong customer planning, execution and analysis.
Your main tasks
Commercial Planning & Customer Management
Integrated Commercial Planning: Deliver the agreed Integrated Commercial Plan (ICP) and Customer Business Plans for designated customers and region.
Regional Business Objectives: Contribute to NNS, volume, market share, Trade Spend, weighted distribution, ROI and Perfect Store objectives.
Customer Planning: Manage and plan activities for designated customers, including sales and Trade Spend targets.
Forecasting & Business Review: Collate data for monthly internal reporting, support monthly forecast submissions and updates, and contribute to the preparation and presentation of the monthly Business Review.
Trade, Marketing & In-Store Execution
Trade & Marketing Activities: Support the preparation and implementation of promotional plans, brand activations and visibility plans.
Performance Evaluation: Conduct pre- and post-evaluations in coordination with the Key Account Manager, Finance and Trade Marketing, monitoring execution, TTS and ROI.
Distribution & Planograms: Define distribution targets with the Key Account Manager, monitor them monthly, and generate and track planogram execution for selected accounts.
Store Execution: Track sell-out performance, distribution, out-of-stocks and trade activity implementation, with a focus on stock availability and Perfect Store execution.
Store Visits: Prepare and conduct regular store visits, report findings, define actions and follow up on implementation.
Analytics, Brand Ambassadors & Vendor Coordination
Customer & Market Analytics: Analyse market and customer data, consolidate defined KPIs and recommend actions related to forecasting, promotions and distribution.
Brand Ambassador Operations: Ensure proper service delivery from agencies and/or customers providing Brand Ambassador services, and support the recruitment, management and training of Brand Ambassadors.
Third-Party Purchasing: Set up and manage PR/POs and associated WBS for third-party vendor purchasing related to Brand Ambassadors.
Budget Control: Reconcile PO values and help ensure that expenditure remains within the allocated TTS budget.
What Will Make You Successful
- At least 3–5 years of sales experience, with a focus on customer management and field sales management.
- Experience in commercial account planning, forecasting and execution.
- Operational experience supervising in-store Brand Ambassador teams.
- Experience in Travel Retail is ideal, but not essential.
- Good knowledge of Sales, Customer Management and Field Sales, together with the core principles of Generating Demand.
- Knowledge of sales analytics, Trade Marketing and Category Management.
- Basic knowledge of finance and control.
- Positive mindset and good analytical skills.
- Strong customer relationship, collaboration, selling, negotiation and execution capabilities.
- Organised and structured, with the ability to work independently and show initiative.
- A self-starter with well-developed interpersonal skills in a multicultural context.
- Quick to learn, curious about new markets and comfortable analysing data.
- Strong communication skills and fluent English.
- Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of PowerPoint, SAP and Copilot.
